    I had been looking for the best shoes for hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. Every pair I got had some limitation that hurt my feet. I had been using Etonic walkers and said to my girlfriend, "Why don't I just hike the PCT in these shoes?" That gave me the idea to see if Etonic had trail running shoes. I found these, tested them on a few conditioning hikes, and have done 170 miles of the PCT with them now. Couldn't be happier. These are perfect for the hot dry areas. I would not wear them in the snow areas because they are so open and well ventilated.
