Question “Hi,|I just got this sled for my daughter, and I have a question about the shape of the bottom. The bottom has a concave shape; it is not convex as I would have expected in a sled. Is the shape supposed to be concave? If yes, why is it that shape?|Thanks”

Answer We are currently out stock so I was not able to physically inspect one. From the vendor photos I could find it appears the bottom should not be concave. I believe you may have a defective or damaged sled.
