I'm not sure if I should be reviewing this yet since I have not yet used it for its normal purpose. However, I can say that it seems to be lighweight and compact when packed as expected. I did not expect the non-stick surface to be necessarily as non-stick as regular nonstick cookware. The surface has a rough texture, and I would imagine that if you were to get something caked on or burnt onto it, those things would not come off easily. I do think, however, that if you stick to heating up liquids and soups, or frying something with a persistent good layer of oil between the cooked item and the pot/pan, then it would not stick much. It may be more of a challenge however, to cook something like scrambled eggs or rice without having them stick in spots. I also would not use the metal utensils for cooking, as appears to be suggested. I believe that would accelerate the degradation of the surfaces. The cup does not have a rounded lip, nor could I figure out what one other reviewer meant by connecting the 2 utensils together to make them longer. However, they seem long enough to me, and I would use them individually. But then again, my hands are not the largest.

The pots are why I bought this set. The others were just extras for me. The cup is rather small and will probably stay home. The fork and spoon is nice though. I leave them connected and that makes for a longer handle, they may be too short apart. I used this set over a fire on a grill. My only complaints are: 1. you have to remove the lid to use the lifter, and 2. there are no loop handles. I may rivit my own to them. This set is just right for soup and hot water for 2, maybe 3 people (at once). It would be nice too if the lids were pans. I could have gotten a comparable aluminum set for way less, but I wanted titanium. Another comparable titanium set, 2 pots, 2 lids, would have set me back many more $$$. This is a nice set inbetween those other options. I like it. Now I need a wood spoon to stir stuff with. It would be 5 stars from me if it came with one, and I didn't have 2 minor complaints. Pan lids would make it 6 stars...

Used a similar Titanium set on Mt. Rainier last month. I had to get one. Ordered this set and am very disappointed. Used it one night to heat soup. Can't get the soup off bottom. So much for the "non-stick" claim. Am sending this one back tomorrow.

This set has everything a solo backpacker or hiker would need except a frying pan. I have decided to use this set as my primary cook set on solo trips. It is much lighter than my Optimus Terra set, and it fits well enough inside the Terra's insulated case. It is versatile enough for 1-3 persons since it has 2 decent-sized pots with lids. 2 people will need their own mug and eating utensils though.

very light and complete kit. pot holder coming in it's own carrying case does seem a bit odd though.

This set replaces what I had been using. It is much lighter and I wanted a set that would be easier to clean. I hope the non-stick surface holds up over time. The cup and utensils top the set off very well.

I haven't put these to the test yet. But they look and feel terrific. They are waiting to go into my pack for my first trip to the mountains next week. In the past, I always depended on friends/ex-husband, etc. to have good cooking gear. Now I have my own! Pretty fantastic.
