Comfy and warm. Haven't hiked with it yet. The zipper has to be zipped just right and is frustrating. Runs small. I usually wear a large and ordered an XL per the previous reviewers. Glad I did, fits great.

I was planning to use this as a layering jacket, but because the sleeves are very fitted I can only use a t-shirt or very thin longsleeve underneath. But, it does keep me warm enough.

I really like the Alpental collection from Ex Officio. The fleece is very well made, looks dressy, and is very warm. The Glacier color is really nice.

This sweatshirt is more like a jacket because it is warm and flattering, but it is very comfortable. It has great freedom of movement as the arms are cut very well. It is best when you are moving from indoors to outdoors without taking it off, such as when shopping or at work.
