    I've gone on rants and raves about these pants so often around my friends that all of my closest friends now own a pair (not all of the same color thank God, lol). This is my second pair, after retiring the first to camping only since they are no longer soft after wearing them for the last five or more years (they also had a lot of burn holes from fires, wear and tear from climbing/rapping, spelunking, etc...).

    I love these pants for travel and for hiking. Very light weight, they take up little space in suitcase or pack. Very cool and comfortable, yet they look good enough to wear around town. They come with a sewn-in brief, which I find worthless and cut out. They seem to run on the small end of their size range, so if you're on the upper end, you might want to order one size larger.
