ExOfficio Amphi Shorts (For Women)

I enjoyed these for about anything. They are comfortable, soft, and versatile.

I really wanted to love these because their quality and features were outstanding. Unfortunately, ExOfficio Amphi Shorts just didn't work with my body type well (5'7" 140 lbs). I returned them. I appear to need something a little more semi fitted.

I like the concept of these shorts, and good color. However, the fit is a bit off. The waist to crotch distance is a bit long. I find that I either have to pull them up too high and look like a mom-dork, or pull them down on my waist and then the crotch hangs down an inch or so too far. It kind of feels like a diaper. However, I would wear them camping or in the woods when I'm not trying to look too cute and just want a lightwieght short.

It's SO tough to find outdoor women's clothes that are a true size 14, 16, or 18; usually the XXL's in the big brands go up to a size 12 and stop, and it's frustrating! Or if they do label something a 16/18, it usually fits my size 10/12 friends, or they build it as if women had all the curves of a 12 year old boy - no room for the badonkadonk. I was pleased to see these listing an XXL as a size 18/20, as I thought that'd give me half a chance. Got them on, and they seem to fit okay, EXCEPT they are SO high waisted. The waist band comes up OVER my belly button. I haven't worn stuff like that since... ever. I tried them on a short hike and pulled my shirt out over them, but I have a funny feeling these will find their way into my Mom's closet soon. So CLOSE Ex Officio. SO close. Please keep trying.

Comfy enough for hiking and fishing, but dressy enough for a cookout. I like them for fishing, because I can hook my hip waders to the built in belt. Size runs a little small, but I found one that works for me. This is a closeout, so get them if you can before they run out. Hopefully ExOfficio will reintroduce them.

I'm not regularly a shorts person, but I admit to really liking this pair. The color is nice, and the material is quick-drying and light. I was very comfortable hiking in these for 3 or 4 out of the 8 days I was in Utah recently. I don't have any bad news for this product yet. :)

Great casual shorts for active lifestyles.

I've just lost some weight so might be true to size, but the L was big on me, however the belt and partially gathered waist makes them adjustable and since the M wasn't available I decided to keep them. The styling is slimming despite being too big. I also loved the ample pocket room.

I own two pairs of these shorts. They wash up well, without wrinkles. They are very comfortable if you like relaxed fitting clothes which are not easy to find. I wish there were more color options.

This is the 2nd pair I've bought because they are my favorite shorts.
