    I use this for going to work on the bus, walking to the office from the bus stop. The fabric and styling are really sharp--have gotten numerous compliments already. LOng sleeves actually look really nice cuffed up because of the contrasting color lining... maybe that was intended. Two issues... probably should have gotten medium, but the sizing for med is 8-10 (rather small)...so I'm really kind of swimming in it. Second really big issue is the zipper. [...], the zipper on the second jacket--while it does work--is still so sticky and irritating. But it is a two way zip which I consider essential.

    Jacket is beautiful, has a real feel of quality. Only one very important element became an immediate problem- the front zipper snagged in three spots. Sad to have to send it back.

    The material is handsome and apparently waterproof. However the cut of the jacket is unsatisfactory. The body is tight but the sleeves are too long. I have 4 Ex Officio XS shirts and they fit well. This does not. It is going back.

    I love the basic black color and could see using it also as a liner for my work jacket - (fire department) I just wish it had a hood, a little hidaway hood in the collar would make it perfect!

    I love Ex Officio gear, and this jacket is no exception. I have the grey version - the green inner collar color is the only thing I'm not thrilled about. It's not a bad color - it's just that I bought a grey jacket because it's a neutral color! I haven't worn it in the rain, but it has kept me warm when I've worn it. Like my other Ex Officio jackets, it has a good number of pockets. It also packs down pretty well, and I'm looking forward to taking it to the UK this spring. Be sure to pay attention to Ex Officio's sizing chart - I'm 5'7"/130lbs, and usually wear a medium (for arm length alone!) - however, with all of my Ex Officio outerwear, I wear a small.
