    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    I bought this jacket to use for casual wear -- around town, travel, etc. It's perfect for that. I'm not sure I would wear it for rigorous outdoor activities -- it's length might restrict movement. It's beautifully constructed (typical of Ex Officio) and it has really nice lines (makes me look slimmer!). I like the detachable hood, since I never use it and I think hoods tend to look "frumpy". I have the jacket in the cream (or light tan) color -- it looks great with jeans and dressier slacks, too.

    Simple and elegant styling. Trim figure flattering cut. Sleeves seem a bit long for me, but will offer extra weather protection. Great hood; full coverage. It's the sort of gear that serves its purpose, is technically advance and fashionable.
