Ex Officio Insect Shield® Hiker Socks (For Men and Women)

I bought these for a dive trip to Roatan, Honduras and I was the only person without itching ankles. They work!

Live near swamp - wetlands - many bugs. These socks kept my legs from from being eaten!

Nice hiking socks. I wore them with a cool max liner. The bug protection around the ankles is a nice addition. I wore them hiking along a river (a real river in Colorado, not one of the dry ones around here) and had zero mosquito bites.

Successfully protects against crawling ticks and chiggers when I step on grass.

they are not too hot at all and breathe well; would like to have some shorter insect shield socks some day as well.

I wear my insect repellent socks gardening. It has been a pleasure to wear these socks and not be eaten up by chiggers!

My wife and I wore these socks for 4 weeks in Costa Rica. We got no bites but were surprised at what good socks they are. No itching after you take them off. Always comfortable. No marks from being too tight. Easy to put on and take off.

I ordered a Medium but probably should have ordered a small. I wear a Woman's size 8.

Have not actually worn these yet because they were purchased for a vacation, BUT I ordered one pair for myself and tried them on and ordered another pair for myself immediately. My husband tried on my pair and said yes, so I also ordered him a pair. I am really hoping this will keep ticks away from my legs on hikes and in the garden. I don't like ants and yellow jackets up my legs either, but ticks are the absolute worst! Here's hoping these socks work as well as the bandanna and shirt I have already used.

Bought these for my son for Boy Scouts. Wonderful. No blisters. Repels bugs. Great Scout color. Brown socks don't show dirt (much).
