    Wearing them as I write this and very comfortable fit. Very slight shrinkage after the first wash, which actually improved the fit -- 38 by 32 is true to size after the wash. These pants have a proper traditional rise to sit at the waist. Only negative so far, and it is not major, is the zipper could be about a 1/2 inch to an inch longer, unless you pull them down to sit on the hips, which is not how they are cut.

    The fabric looks great. The cotton and nylon is a great blend. Not the baggy looking nylon travel/hiking pants that never seem to fit well. They seemed a little on the short side, but there was enough fabric in the cuff to let them down 3/4" to suit me.

    These pants are great for a number of outdoor activities. I hike in them and fish the Florida flats and bays in them in the winter. Not too heavy, but the fabric is substantial. The only thing that I think could make them better is for Ex Officio to offer a 30" inseam.

    My husband received these pants for Christmas and really likes them, especially the fabric which is 51% cotton and 49% nylon and has some body to it, yet feels soft and comfortable. They launder beautifully and don't show wrinkles and should wear well being cotton/nylon.
