Ex Officio Get'n Away Jacket (For Women)

I have received many compliments on this jacket already. Nifty features such as pockets on the bodice and easy to snap snaps.

I wish it were an inch or two shorter in the torso-- another reviewer said the same. There's a belt (removable) which ties in front-- I like the look in a sense, but it does make the sides stick out in a strange, skirtlike way. A bit too much fabric there. However, it's still the closest I've come to the perfect travel jacket-- two long chest pockets in front (vertical entry), large pouch pockets below, good for hands or holding a fair amt. of travel stuff (lipstick, phone etc). NOT a raincoat, but a decent cotton/poly jacket for cool nights and general travel. Zipper AND snaps in front, snaps at cuffs so you can roll them back.

Not sure how it will be repeling water. It is thin, not lined, but nice pockets.

I took this jacket on a week long vacation to two European cities and practically wore it all the time. Had to put it on a concrete bench and sit on it for two hrs, and it still came out without a wrinkle. The fit is a little odd, but the belts are removable, and the jacket actually looked good with almost all my pants and tops. Cool fabric- not too warm, not too cold. Perfect for spring/summer travel.

I like the coat. It packs well and I will be taking it on trips.

Will be used for travel. Very versatile. Side button detail & belt are removable.

just don't like the styling of this jacket....i was hoping it would be good, as i like the idea of all the pockets for traveling. the waist is too low and so the belt looks odd....

I bought this for traveling and it is great. This jacket packs well, it comes out of my backpack looking good. The belt is a little too safari for me but that is only a personal choice. The one thing I wish it had was an inside pocket, then it would be really perfect.

I've always had good luck with ex officio products, but this jacket exceeded my expectations. Nice midweight fabric. And the two zipper pockets are huge inside, big enough for airline tickets, passport, etc. I have a long torso and some belted jackets are too short waisted on me. But this one is perfect. A+.
