    Wore this Halo shirt on 5 week trip to India Oct26-Dec2, 2009 with Ex Officio insect shield long pants and did not get any insect bites except on exposed hands and ears, so resorted to DEET on those areas. Weather was very warm, esp the the first 3 weeks but I did not roll up the sleeves. Even though I was warm wearing it, it was great not to worry about getting malaria or dengue fever. Also worked great as sunblock on arms since I did not roll up the sleeves. Light color showed dirt with one day's wear, but it's super easy to wash and it dries quickly.

    I bought this shirt for a trip to Korea. I haven't gone yet so I really don't know how it will do. But I have washed it and worn it around the house. So far I really like it. It's comfortable, nice color and most of all doesn't say in big print Travel shirt.

    I have used it for hiking. It kept bugs away, but felt sticky in warm, humid weather. I tied it around my pack and it repelled insects, but wrinkled a lot. This shirt is good for an outer layer in cooler temperatures and evenings.

    It says it's breathable, but I'll be testing that in the jungle soon enough. The material is synthetic and doesn't feel soft at all. And the pink blossom color is pretty terrible: a pale peach-pink. I ended up keeping it for the price and its InsectShield properties.
