    I live in Alaska where the mosquito is the unofficial state bird. I was a little bit skeptical but,with the sale price being so good, I thought I would risk it. The INSECT SHIELD really works!!! Side by side with other outdoor workers who were putting on layer after layer of bug dope, I just stood there and smiled and didn't have to worry about being bit. With a head net and gloves, I spent day after day working outside with NO bites on me! I love this new shirt! Thanks, STP!

    Especially great for travel - you only need two shirts for two weeks - wash out nicely in sink and dry pretty fast. Very comfortable even in high heat weather! Its wonderful there is a good cotton content to the material!!!

    Does what it was intended to do. First time wearing it was on a work project in the woods. My family has been greatly affected by Lyme disease and I have been looking for a product to keep ticks away. Half way through the day, I found a deer tick on my sleeve, curled up and dead. Perfect. No other ticks were found on me.

    I was very happy with this shirt on a recent trip to the Brasilian Amazon basin. It was cool and comfortable, and dried quickly. It ventilates well, yet provides good sun and brush protection. Since the Rio Negro has few mosquitoes I can't comment on how well the insect shield worked, but I didn't get bit while wearing it (but didn't get bit when not wearing it either.)
