    These Buzz Off socks seem to protect your lower legs and ankles from bug attack (mosquitoes, chiggars,ticks, etc.). The bug repellancy eventually washes/wears off but, the socks continue to hold up pretty well, making them a good deal. I have bought numerous pairs for myself, as well as family members, over the years and will continue to do so in the future.
