    I use them for Scuba Diving and water activities. They dry very quickly, so you are ready to go out in public straight from the water. The waist fit is larger than advertised. I have a 36" waist and the Lg is loose. I have to wear a belt which is not a problem. If you are a 36" waist, go with a medium. Other than that, Great Shorts.

    These shorts are my favorites. They are lightwieght, stylish, and functional good for just about anything. The size is a little wierd. For me I have a 38" waist and the mediums were a little small and the large were a little too big. I went with the large for the extra room and wear a belt with them.

    I use these for work (deliver mail). I'm outside and in an non air conditioned vehicle so love the lightweight durable quick dry fabric. I have to have shorts below the knee so these meet the requirement. I'm also concerned about sun protection and these fit that bill as well. Great Shorts!
