    These shorts wear well. I spent two weeks in Hawaii and these were my "go-to" shorts for hiking. They have a lot of pockets for carrying needed supplies. They are lightweight and nice for humid, hot climates.

    The brand is so great and these are well made but fall to the current low-rifer style so popular. They are too low on the waist to be comfortable (for me) and were overall small. I sent them back. I have loved other items from this brand in the past and will continue to give them a shot.

    I love these shorts! I wear these shorts for good looking casual summer wear. The other ratings warned that they run small so I ordered one size up and they fit great. The material is light weight and very soft. The zip pockets are great to put my cell phone or I-pod in for safe keeping.

    One thing about the description - they are not to the natural waist; they are SLIGHTLY dropped. Still very comfortable. They DO run a size small - most of my shorts are size 8; I bought 10 and they fit perfectly. They are movable, comfortable - I was concerned that the longer leg would be restrictive but they are not. I bought these specifically for rowing - sliding back and forth on the seat, getting them wet, and still looking good - they are perfect. The rower behind me commented - "those shorts look so comfortable!". They are great for cycling too. ( I won't wear spandex!) And for casual, daily wear, they are my shorts of choice.

    This style has been discontinued for a 7" version, so I wanted to get these. They are trim, and a more modest length for when you don't want to wear shorter shorts in a more "dressy" setting. I have these in the Peppercorn and Sage colors, and both are very flattering. Great ExOfficio construction, as always. I bought one size up, and they are perfect.
