    This shirt was with me throught my year in Colombia where I took this shirt out camping, rock climbing, bouldering, into the cool higher altitudes in dry and rain and it was always at an arms reach away. it was a part of my essential very pared down clothing. It is an amazing layering piece to throw over a shirt when the weather gets cool or the biting bugs come out (dosen't make me feel over heated) and if it gets cold throw a jacket over it and I never felt over stuffed. The hood never really came in handy but it is cute. All together love it!

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I usually love Ex Officio shirts, incluidng a pointelle hoodie I have like this one. So I was very disappointed when this didn't fit (I am 5' 4" and wear XS). It was not at all flattering with a poor fit to the body. It also seemed a little short. If you like a more flattering fit I would recommend any of the long sleeved pointelle shirts by Ex Officio. (Some of the short sleeved shirts are too short.)

    So far this shirt has been worn for casual/stylish purposes. I bought it with hiking in mind. I love how comfortable the fabric is. I also love the flattering cut and style. The longer sleeves are not a problem for me as I can see that on a chilly hiking day they will feel great down on my hands; they can be rolled up or pushed up when not needed. There are NO things not great about this shirt. I'm a 0/2, bought the XS which is 2/4. This is becoming my new "uniform."
