ExOfficio Tomboy Twill Jacket (For Women)

This jacket is great! I wear it often, and I love all the pockets, I can hold all I need and not carry a bag! I saw it on sale and ordered one for my sister....she's got a baby and I know the pockets will come in handy for her also!

This jacket is comfortable and looks really good. I love it.

This is a very well made jacket. I have long arms for my small frame, and this jacket fits my arms well. So I can see how some people may feel the sleeve length is too long. The inside pockets are really great and will be very useful for travel. The one thing I don't like about this jacket is that the sleeves are "puffy" ... there is just too much material, which doesn't make them very feminine; but, hey, it is called the "tomboy" jacket for a reason. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase and plan on keeping the item. I got the Bone color, which is an off-khaki color that goes well with most colors.

Like other reviewers said, sleeves are longer than average. I ordered my usual size--Small (5'5" , slim) and the shoulders and bodice length were just right. Too bad about the boxy cut of the bodice. This is the same problem I encounter with clothing I find in stores that cater to the 'over 40' crowd. I toyed with the idea of tailoring the side seams and adding a couple of darts in the back to add contour, but decided to send it back instead. As for the sleeves, the cuffs neatly turn up just once, and that made them the right length. Because of the length, plan to wear this with a blouse underneath, or with high waist pants, or with a skirt. If someone is squarish in the bodice (the apple shape?), this jacket might fit them perfectly as is. If very short waisted, just order a size down. Other than that, it's a very nice, excellent quality jacket. Would love to have multiple inner pockets like that if I were traveling abroad.

Nice quality. Fits a bit on the large size. Boxy and not tappered in at all. But it is well made. I ended up keeping it.

Really liked the style of jacket and the cut is perfect for me since I have a short torso. It has lots of pockets which is always nice. I have found my new favorite jacket!

I have long arms, so back it goes. If you are not ape-armed, it's a cute jacket.

I take a size 4 in most garments -- sometimes a 2. I also have a very short torso and long arms for my height -- I sew and have to alter patterns for myself, also backpack and have a hard time finding packs short enough in the back measurement. This jacket has NO ease in the shoulders and bust and is too short to wear with any pants you bought since 2002. I am sizing up to a 6 and hope the shoulders don't come halfway down my upper arms.[...]

Can dress it up or down!

I wear it as a nicer looking alternative with jeans or khakis other than a windbreaker or fleece & can dress it up with a nice scarf.
