ExOfficio Trip-R Shirt - Long Sleeve (For Men)

My husband needed a shirt that would block the sun so I ordered this one. He wore it during our 4 day trip to Rocky Point, Mexico. He loved it. It not only blocked the sun but allowed air to circulate so he didn't feel so hot. I borrowed it when I was out floating in the water and it kept me from getting burned. I rinsed it out in a sink after using it in the ocean and it dried quickly and didn't wrinkle. I have since bought him two more of these shirts. He is now wearing them to work. He likes them because they are a lighter weight than a polo shirt and they keep him cooler.

Wow, great shirts, I bought 3. Wonderful Exofficio Dryflylite fabric, very breathable and a soft hand, silk-like. Not quite so stiff as older EO Drylite fabric (which I also like). Toned-down on the techy/campy features; no side-mesh vents or double-stacked chest pockets. Chest pockets zip and are covered with a discreet flat-lying flap. Mesh vented yoke which slightly prints through on the lighter colors. Fit is correct with long tails but not so long as other EO shirts which usually come to mid-thigh on me. Sleeves roll up and fasten at the elbow. Sleeves and chest are a good fit on me (XL shirt on a sz 48 chest)- not tremendously baggy like EO Air Strip shirt sleeves. Oyster color is a very lite blue-green, almost white. Bone color is a very light tan with a bit of yellow tint. Interesting front button detail, buttons are not individually stiched but threaded through a 1/4" strip of fabric which runs the length of the placket. Looks stronger than thread but can't see how to replace one if it breaks.
