“I haven't had the opportunity to wear these in the field yet, but trying them on, they fit very well. The ventilation panels looks great; I get so hot when I hike or in hot weather where pants are still advisable to wear (due to bugs or scratchy hiking terrain). As per other comments, the roll-up feature merely turns them from regular pants to "high-water" pants, maybe you'd stay dry walking through puddles, but otherwise it doesn't add to the cooling feature.”
