ExOfficio Air Strip Pants - UPF 30+ (For Women)

I didn't realize the air strip was actually a strip where the air would come in. The mesh material will be nice in the summer. The legs are nearly full length when snapped up on my 5'5" frame but I like them.

I currently live in India had a friend bring them because it is really hot and humid right now. The pants are amazingly lightweight. However the waist is very wide, so the other reviewer's description of "squarish" is right on. While they are not a great fit,in the long run I think the lightness, packability, wash and wear and coolness will pay off and I'll be happy with them.

Perfect for hiking in the desert

These pants probably run a little big as I am more a 14 than a 12. I am 5'3 and they were on the long side. I shortened them and wore them on a road trip... comfy, what wrinkles they picked up being stuffed in a corner came out almost immediately. Bought them in place of zip off pants... cool but legs protected from most of the blowing sand. Have 2 pair.

Awesome pants -- great fit, great material, purposefully designed. Can't wait to try them out on the trail and traveling in hot, wet climates this summer. As a person who has more than the usual reaction to insect bites, I'm a little concerned about the "bug vs. mesh" battle. But for ventilation, I had to choose one or the other, and I'll be trying the repellent-treated Ex Officio pants next.

Liked the pants except they were not flattering on me at all - very squarish looking.

They fit true to size and look good.

The pants fit true to size. The material was very light weight. I was looking for pants to wear in a very hot climate that would travel well, pack well, wash out in the sink and hang dry. These pants checked all the right boxes. However, I returned them because I didn't notice on line that they have large mesh panels on the inside of the legs. I felt it was too vented! I felt exposed.

I bought these pants to use for a 3 day/75 mile walk in Costa Rica during March. It's hot and I wanted only the best pants for this trek! These will serve me perfect! Though I wear a 6 in EVERYthing, I found this pair slightly baggy in the waist causing a hipster effect, which i don't mind-I'll plan on tucking shirts in anyhow. I also bought the same pant with bug-shield, and that size 6 fit way tight! I'm going to have to get an 8. (Weird) It feels like wearing pajama's. They are so thin and the air strip is a pretty good width, i think my legs will feel cool. Also being that the strips are in the inseam, I think bugs don't have a good chance of getting in or biting if i'm moving my legs constantly. The bone color is a little see through because of the thin fabric, so don't wear your heart print panties! I will definitely use these pants during summer hikes here in Washington too!

These great pants will be super for gardening. The air strip will help keep me cool in hot weather. I tried them on the minute they came and ran to the computer to order another pair. I love the quality of Ex Officio products. I have a pair of similar Ex Officio pants that I have worn for years and have been looking for some to replace them in case they ever wear out.
