    At 5' 7 1/2" these are a fine length, w/ties at bottom perimeter, these boracades are very clean looking making them a candidate for dressy casual. Oftentimes women's casual pants look messier than their male counterparts, so finding these is a true benefit to the wardrobe. As motorcycle pants, they are nicer than jeans & also wind/abrasion/water resisitant. One can also use these for rock climbing, outdoor work on the farm, or yard work when dealing w/scratchy shrubs, rose bushes & such.

    Even though I have yet to wear these pants on an adventure, I know they will exceed my expectations on the backpacking trail ,as they are well made and the perfect material.     I'm always somewhat cautious ordering pants online, sizing can be off, fit can be odd. These pants, however, fit like they were made for me (size 6 for 5'6", 132 lbs), they are extremely comfortable, allow for ample movement, and will be great for both outdoor activities and everyday life.
