    Not sure yet how the bug shield will work, but hat fits well and chin strap will keep it on in a wind. Brim is wide enough to shade sun without blocking peripheral vision.

    Bought one for my son. my husband liked it so much, I had to get one for him, too. It's hard to get my son to wear sun protection or bug repellent. But he will wear anything that's camo! Haven't "field" tested it against bugs yet, but certainly offers great sun protection.

    The Bugsaway treatment really works. We'll see how long it lasts. This hat is a cut above similar hats. The brim is more structured and the hat fits ones noggin better. Exofficio gear is always high quality in my experience. Would have been nice to have a couple of screened vent holes.

    I am surprised what a hit this hat has been with my 6 yr old son, 8 yr old daughter and husband. They actually look good in it too. I had thought that it was a purely functional purchase but everyone loves them and I now need to order more. Strange but true story.
