ExOfficio Bugsaway Halo Check Shirt - UPF 30+, Long Sleeve (For Women)

Good cut and fit, but does run a little large. I like to wear this over tee shirts or camis, so I didn't exchange for smaller size. Zippered pockets keep the fit neat.

We are having a bumper year for deer ticks which carry Lyme disease. If I am out gardening in ordinary clothing, I invariably come in with a tick on me. Since I have been wearing this shirt out, I have avoided problems with ticks and other insects.

I wanted a bug repellent shirt for gardening, hiking and working outdoors. What I didn't expect is a shirt that I WANT to wear all the time because it is so comfortable and airy and looks nice all the time, over a tank top or T shirt. This is a fantastic shirt. It just feels great all the time. The sleeve length, just a little long, is great because of the ease it gives for movement.There are snap adjustments at the wrists, so the cuffs stay put. The sleeves easily stay rolled up for 'short sleeves' with snap straps which work well. With Bug repellent and UV protection combined with the comfort and lighteness of this shirt it will be easy to wear, even on the hottest days of summer.

Great shirt but a little on the big size. I am typically a size 2 or 4 in shirts. The small was HUGE so I kept the XS but even that is much roomier than typical ExOfficio button up shirts.

I use this shirt for gardening and other outdoor activities. It fits well but I did not notice when I ordered it that it has snaps and not buttons. I would not order it again because the snaps are too difficult to deal with. For someone who does't mind the extra work of the snaps, this is a good shirt.
