    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    My first impression and ongoing issue with these socks were they were thin. I would say they feel twice as thick as my dress socks. The name is Bugsaway and Vented so I should have expected hot weather socks, but they don't say light weight. And they are definitley light trail/hiking weight socks. I have athletic socks that are heavier. When hiking I see me using a light under sock next to my skin to add a little bulk to this sock.
