4.0 out of 5 stars. Feel pretty durableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Donna from Colorado on Tuesday, May 30, 2017This pants feel pretty durable (for womens pants) and have a good amount of pockets. I generally wear a size L in pants, and the 14 fits me pretty good. The only issue I have with these is the legs are pretty wide. I almost feel like I am wearing bell bottoms! But, they are a good, sturdy pair of hiking pants.

3.0 out of 5 stars. unusually long pants!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Leanne from Colorado on Friday, May 19, 2017I'm 5'9" and ordered a size 6. They were so long, even with boots on, that they dragged on the ground and became soaked by the wet grass I was walking in. I tried rolling them up, but they are quite lightweight and wouldn't stay rolled. I just took the time to shorten them enough for me, but there's a limit to how much you can shorten them because of the zippers. Otherwise, they are nice & comfortable. No bugs the day I wore them, so can't say how that feature works.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not qute rightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Kansas on Monday, March 13, 2017I've been looking for a good pair of quick-dry convertible pants for hiking. I ordered these in both size Small and Medium. For reference I am 5' 7" and weigh an athletic 143 pounds. My hips are 38" and waist is 30". I found myself right between two sizes. I liked the smalls best as the mediums were too loose and baggy around my hips and waist (with a gap at the back of my waist...which in truth is something that I struggle with). The size smalls were pretty fitted but worked best while I was just standing. As soon as I tried to lift my legs (like climbing up a steep hill) the pants became a bit restricting. There is not much give to the fabric. That said though, the thing that I REALLY disliked about these pants is a common problem with trail pants...the bottoms, although the right length for me, were HUGE. Why so much fabric down there? Who wants to hike in bell bottoms? The picture shown does not make the pants appear to be this way...but believe me...they are. I very soon after found a brand that is new to me (from Europe) that I LOVE...nice stretchy fabric and just the right amount of space in the ankles...so these went back.

4.0 out of 5 stars. ExOfficio BugsAway® Ziwa Convertible PantsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from North Carolina on Saturday, October 1, 2016Very nice - as others have indicated, the length is much too long for average length pant. I had planned to take them on a trip, but was unable to do so as I will have to have the length altered if I am to wear them.

2.0 out of 5 stars. fit is not what it used to beVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Pennsylvania on Sunday, August 21, 2016I had a pair of these that I bought 8 years ago to wear plein air painting in marshes and tall grass. They've been great pants - not only kept bugs at bay, but were loose and cool. I was hoping to replace them with a new pair, same size. Unfortunately the fit/cut has changed. The same product is now more slim fit, which I suppose is more popular but doesn't work for me. They also eliminated the rear pockets (which were great for cell phone) and added a rear yoke seam which puts bulges in all the wrong places. Very unflattering. I returned these.

3.0 out of 5 stars. too longVerified Buyer Reviewed by Sam 123 from MA on Tuesday, August 9, 2016Nice looking pants . I am 5'8, 145 but I found the legs a little long , the bottom a little snug and the waistband a little high .
Guess we were not shaped for each other ! -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Lightweight hiking pantsVerified Buyer Reviewed by JWK from Lawrence, KS on Sunday, July 31, 2016Nice lightweight convertible hiking pants with two front hip pockets and two zipped thigh pockets - no back pockets. Fit is individual, I was happy that these pants fit me well through the waist and hips. The pants sit at the natural waist. The inseam is 32", so the pants will fit a taller person right out of the box; I had to shorten the lower leg quite a bit - no big deal. Big plus: the zippers on the removable lower legs are color-coded, so there is no figuring out right/left, inside/outside - a nice feature for anyone frustrated with putting convertible pants back together.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love These pants!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Seattle, wa on Friday, July 8, 2016I now own 3 pairs of these pants. Great for travelling and hiking. Don't worry about getting wet, they dry almost immediately. Easy to move in, great for rock scramblingredients. Or repelling. Very durable, easy to maintain.
My only complaint is the limited colossal. The slate and cigar are almost the same. They need green or blue. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. No BugsVerified Buyer Reviewed by PCT Hiker from Tahoe on Monday, July 4, 2016These really helped me when I was backpacking and the bugs were everywhere. They were not on my legs or pants, I just wish I would have gotten a shirt to go with the pants. I have washed them a few times and it still seems to be holding up pretty well during the mosquito season.

3.0 out of 5 stars. run small and longVerified Buyer Reviewed by downeastmidwest from MN on Tuesday, June 28, 2016unable to fit properly despite sizing up twice - waist is disproportionately tight. the inseam is much too long for 5'6" and the fabric too lightweight to compensate by rolling them at the hem. there is no fastener to cinch at the ankle
husband's pants were a perfect fit for him and not a tick in sight, or mosquito bite, on recent canoe trip.
