“Great jacket!”

“i generally love ExOfficio clothing, and first purchased the Barometric Trench from this site. I loved everything about that jacket save for the fact that the zipper simply did not work. I sent it back and decided to take a chance on this one. Glad I did, as it is exactly what I wanted, and the zipper seems to be fine. I have always wanted a jacket like this: a really nice, lightweight packable shell that isn't executed in all manner of bright colors and emblazoned with giant logos in 5 or 6 places all over the jacket. In other words a jacket that performs as a wind & rain shell but also has refined style. This is that jacket. It's got a very nice overall look, and the features are all there, including a removable hood, which is great. My only negative comment is that the drape of the jacket is slightly bigger than it needs to be. I purchased a size M, and the fit is overly roomy (I am 6' and 165 lbs). Thankfully the oversizing can be corrected somewhat by the waist draw-cord on the inside of the jacket.”
