“Wearing them as I write this and very comfortable fit. Very slight shrinkage after the first wash, which actually improved the fit -- 38 by 32 is true to size after the wash. These pants have a proper traditional rise to sit at the waist. Only negative so far, and it is not major, is the zipper could be about a 1/2 inch to an inch longer, unless you pull them down to sit on the hips, which is not how they are cut.”
