Awesome sweater to hike in, breathes good but is NOT windproof. The one flaw I found is my neck is too big to zip the sweater all the way up. The inner neck material is wonderful and stands up by itself so the sweater does a good job keeping my neck warm without being zipped all the way up.

Reviewed by RL from Alhambra, CA on Monday, March 05, 2012Nice to know details not in description: (a) right pocket has a 2nd zippered pocket for secure storage; (b) pocket linings for left and right pocket are sewn so that they form large pockets inside the cardigan; (c) right zippered pocket has an interior ribbon loop for keys, etc. When fully zipped, medium-size is comfortably snug around the neck and sleeves are perfect (I wear 15.5 in. neck/33.5 inch sleeves). When zipped half-way up, collar is stiff enough to stand up on it's own or will flip down. Plastic zippers feel solid. Seems well-constructed, though when new there were a number of loose threads on some seams that needed trimming (more an annoyance than a real concern).
