ExOfficio Dryflylite Check Shirt - UPF 30, Long Sleeve (For Women)

I love the look, the feel and it washes and dries quickly!

I was looking for a shirt for sun protection, and this fits the bill. It is quite breathable, too. A good travel shirt as it washs up nicely and dries overnight. The front pockets work well for having your airline tickets, ID, etc. close at hand when going thru airport security.

This is my third one and they are worth every penny. I use it to hike, garden, and throw it in the car in case I have to be out in the sun unexpectedly. I got the green plaid this time and was surprised at how nice it looks with black, kaki, denim, grey, dark blue.

This is the second shirt of this kind I purchased. The last one I used on a trip to Greece and it was perfect - kept the sun off me without adding to the heat, washed up by hand and dried in a flash without wrinkles. The sleeves on the newer one are longer which is great since I have long arms and need the coverage. What is best is that the shirt is functional enough for camping and stylish enough for casual city wear.

I'm an archaeologist and have only used Columbia's shirts in the field before but decided to try an ExOfficio one for this summer as several of my team members love their products. I loved the teal color of this check and couldn't resist when I found it on here on sale. Out of the box this shirt is much softer than I had imagined, I love how soft and lightweight it feels. It fits loose and comfortably. I'm 5'6'' and 120 lbs and while it's loose through the waist (not fitted at all) I needed the Size S for my long arms. I'd be interested to see what an XS feels like, however. I look forward to using this shirt in the field this summer!
