The fact that it is lightweight and UPF 30+ makes it ideal for protection from the Arizona sun without bulk and then goes north as a wind breaker. The photo does not show the sleeves rolled up and held in place with a tab that snaps to the sleeve. This is unfortunate as it really looks nice and is cooler without exposing a lot of skin. The style is very flattering. It is not fitted which I appreciate. I am now collecting this jacket in other colors as they become available. I do not want to ever be without this jacket. It washes beautifully, can be crammed into a tote bag, pulled out and worn without looking like it was crammed into a tote bag, takes up little space in suitcase and can be worn both very casually and dressed up a little while travelling/touring and in need of a light cover.

The hood stays up over a baseball cap and provides good coverage of your neck and sides of face. Good for hiking in the blazing sun. Washes well.

So, it is fine if that is what you want...certainly not a fashion statement. It is lightweight...kind of like wearing PJ's!

It has a convenient pocket for your keys or money.
