ExOfficio Excursion Shorts (For Women)

I got these shorts for an unbelievable price when they were on sale ([$]) and I love them. I took the advice of several people who mentioned that the shorts run small. I am a size 6 or 8 and ordered the size 10. They fit perfectly! They are a nice cut, very slimming and will be my shorts for travel since they are so lightweight. They have two pockets with velcro and a hidden zippered pocket which is also useful when travelling. I love the length just a bit above the kness. Don't know yet if they will need any ironing after washing, but I'm hoping they won't.

The workmanship is excellent and can be used for sports as well as dress wear.

These shorts look great! I typically have the most luck with pants for "curvy" girls, going on the other reviews I read, I ordered a size up, 12 instead of a 10. They are very slenderizing, and while the material would typically be something you would find in a hiking short in the black it really has a nice dressier feel.

These shorts have the same problem I find with many ExOfficio pants. The rise is too high. The waist band is at the natural waist so above your belly button. This high rise is uncomfortable and unflattering on me.

These shorts are super comfortable. I ordered a black pair and want to order another pair in any color available. Could wear these shorts everyday!

I bought these for bike commuting to work; need wicking, quick-drying fabric in these DC-humid summers. 3% spandex gives the nylon a nice stretch. Side pockets on each leg are only secured by velcro (vice zippers in other brands). A snap in place of the button would ease multiple changes during the day (for my commuting purposes). Lots of belt loops; good above-the-knee length.

Nice shorts. I use them for work (on the floor with kids. I always like the workmanship on Ex-Offico products.

The shorts run 1 to 2 sizes too small as others described. I ordered 2 sizes larger and they fit well. They are comfortable and classy looking.

A fantastic pair of shorts. High quality fabric and construction, perfect bermuda length, and a really flattering fit. Very comfortable waistband with cool criss-crossed belt loop detail in the back--gives the shorts a handsome and polished look. Can be worn casually but also can look more dressy. These shorts fit extremely well--I'm 5'4 and wear between a size 4-6, lately tending towards a 4 in most pants/shorts, and a size 4 in these fit as if tailored for me. There is a good stretch to the fabric that make these shorts very versatile, for long walks, hikes (though they are so nice I might not want to get them all dirty!!), travel...I plan to wear them for bike commuting too and think they will be perfect for short rides. So pleased with this purchase!
