“These are marketed as hiking socks, but they are very thin, especially for poly blend socks. I got some merino wool socks as well and even they were thicker than these. I'm not sure if this has something to do with the Insect Sheild, but I would not wear them for anything more than a short day trip, certainly not for an overnight trip, unless I used them as a liner for heavier socks.
Having said that, they are very comforatble wearing around day to day and for the price cant be beat!”
