ExOfficio Irresistible Cardigan Sweater (For Women)

I almost kept this sweater for myself. It is the softest thing I have ever felt. Beautiful, warm, stylish it is just perfect. I bought this for my mom (70yrs) and she loved it.

The sweater is slinky - something I didn't expect. Glad it was a surprise as I'm not sure I'd buy anything "slinky". It is nice and appears to be well made. Haven't washed it yet, though. They ask for reviews quickly. Wore it once, however, and it didn't stretch or get out of shape.

Love this one. Heavier than the other irresistibles and a bit dressier.

The sweater is very soft and very stretchy, super cozy almost like a bathrobe. However, several of the seams are coming apart, and it leaves fine black fuzz on light colored tops. If it wasn't so comfy, I would return it. I still might.

Pros: Perfect length at low hips(I'm 5.5"); soft yummy fabric. Style isn't quite hip, but is certainly versatile enough and not frumpy. Con: (a show-stopper for me, but I'm admittedly picky) The snaps are VERY flimsy cheap plastic so I have to carefully pry them open to avoid harm to the surrounding fabric and they show if the sweater isn't snapped up. I almost kept it for the snugly soft fabric. If you don't mind cheap snaps (or replacing the snaps) then go for it.

It's cosy and comfertable feels good looks good.

This sweater doesn't come to my knees (I'm 5' 9), not even close. Mine is the length mentioned in the listing. It does leave fuzz behind, even after two washings. But it's so soft, and doesn't show wrinkles (I have black) after being taken off and wadded up when traveling.

I am on the fence as to whether to keep this - which means I probably won't. Pros - The fabric is yummy- very soft & cozy. The length is flattering at the top of my thighs, fit is true. (I'm a size 6; avg height; small is perfect.) Cons - The snaps are the flimsiest plastic I've encountered in a snap - they hold tight and have to be pried open to avoid pulling their stitching off the soft fabric. And they show (& look cheap) if it's not snapped up all the way. Style is nice, but not really hip - a pretty basic, cozy sweater.

However, we got a cold snap(48 degrees when its been 100) and I put it on over a lightweight cashmere turtle neck and it not only looked great it was soft and comfortable. I next stuffed it a bag and pulled it out days later and it was a little wrinkled, but the wrinkles all fell out after putting it on. This has slightly long sleeves, which I like(and can be cuffed over and still look good) and snaps with huge flat disc snaps so the sweater lies flat and does not bunch and you don't see the snaps. The bottom lies open(I'd prefer one more snap but then it would probably not lay flat as well and get stretched out from walking). I couldn't find the button hole on the collar to secure it in to place as a turtle neck. I called Exofficio and they told me there is a tiny stretch loop that matches the fabric at the very right corner of the collar. Yep! There it is. I now love this sweater and it will be great for chilly airports and airplanes and such a nice length and silky soft! My new must have travel piece! I got the dark truffle and now am back to order the ivory and black colors on sale. Thank you STP for your great prices. Oh, I wear S in exofficio tops and also in this sweater at 5'7" 145 lb.(sweater falls just above knees). Some irresistible fleeces shed fuzzies- not this one. (if so put in dryer with a towel with NO heat and that fixes it. Never dry in dryer with heat or the softness gets ruined).
