“Excellent jacket”

“Got this for an upcoming trip to Alaska where it won't be freezing but it may warm up to the 70's. I don't want to pack heavy, what with the airlines charging for bags over 50 pounds, so I bought this to layer into other quality products. This jacket feels great, and it's roomy enough to have layers underneath and yet it's modestly dressy too. I don't know how it will shed water, but I trust the others who have reviewed it. I'm at a stage in life where I want some quality. My body also runs on the hot side and I need to ensure I don't overheat in colder conditions. This jacket, so far, fills that need. Great jacket and a great price.”
