The coat looks great, but the wool does not look very nice. It does the job: keeps you warm and dry. However, the coat is rather spacious which means that if you are a little bit on the meatier side, it probably will not look very flattering on you. Best worn with a light layer underneath (t-shirt or just a single layer top, nothing bulky like woolen jumpers/sweatshirts). The zipper part of the bottom half of the coat is great as it keeps the wind out and the removable hood is really handy. The extra ID/ device pocket is very useful. You can access your items without completely unbuttoning your coat and losing warmth. I would recommend this coat to people who don't really care if their figure is distorted by the coat. But if you're looking for something more fashionable, I'd recommend you look at other things because you should be able to find something better at this price.

I really loved this coat in the red color.
It was like a boiled wool.
There was even a zipper to let the jacket close 1/2 way up with out buttons.
Loved the styling.
I ordered a medium. I am 5', 113 lbs.
It was really large on me.
I am sure the small would have fit better.
I didn't re-order it in a small since I thought another jacket would be better for my uses
This can be more dressy, and I didn't like the fact that the collar didn't close into a nice high collar around the neck.
But that is the style of the jacket.

WHat I loved about the jacket was the color. I got the red - and it was a fabulous red.
The wool was thin and it didn’t seem warm - when I buy a wool jacket - I expect it to be heavy wool - like some other brands..
It has very nice features - lots of pockets for phone, etc.. Great buttons - and many of them.
It is nicely lined up through the neck - the wool was itchy, so that was essenital - so I tried it on - the last jacket like this - don’t recall if it was ExOffico or Royal Robbins - didn’t have any lining. The jacket is well made overall.
But, on me, it was shapeless. The seams were absolutely straight - and that isn’t flattering on me. With the bright red - it made me look like a big red blob - I’m 160lbs - but I have other jackets that flatter - this one is not fogiving of extra pounds due to the cut. The length and arms were fine - I’m 5’2” - and it would have also fit someone who was taller and had longer arms.
The sizing is true - so you don't have to adjust for that.
