ExOfficio Nio Amphi Capri Pants (For Women)

I bought a regular Nio Amphi pant, found a capri and bought in the same color, then saw these and bought them in kakhi.

I do not like the tie at the waist. Also I like pants/shorts with some stretch to them. This had none. I returned them.

These Nio Amphi Capris have a lower waist than the older Amphi style, so keep this in mind if you need to wear styles which come to, or above, your waist. Don't get these if you hate low-rider pants!! The drawstring feature is very helpful in keeping them in one place without riding up or down. Same great fabric: lightweight, water and stain-resistant, and durable. I have these in all 3 available colors, and I wear them to work, around town, etc. They have been updated to be more stylish and more flattering than the previous Amphi Capris, which I also love. I would like it if these also came in dark brown and charcoal in addition to the current colors.

Perfect for hiking and camping as it does not show the dirt and washes and wears great. I'm 5'5" and it is a bit long for a true capri, [...]

I own tons of Exofficio clothing for travel and camping/hiking so this one caught my eye as I was looking for a pair of dark capris. I love the color, the peach skin feel of the material, the quality of the item, the nice touch of the stitching around the waist, how they pack down to nothing, don't wrinkle, the UPF and are quick to dry. BUT even with all these plusses, Exofficio missed the mark in my eyes - these capris have NO stretch at all. The legs run narrow so with no stretch they are uncomfortable for hiking. And with no stretch it's tuff to use the 2 security pockets that are located just below the hip on each leg and be comfortable. I'm between a petite and regular so I was expecting these to be a bit long but they were wadders for me, not capris; hemmed just above the ankle. That's easy enough to fix but my biggest dissappointment is the no stretch.

Exofficiol turns out to be a nice looking but cheap brand. I bought a blue one, which matches many of my summer t-shirts nicely. But the material is way too thin and doesn't seem to be durable; the stitching makes the pants unsmooth, bad workmanship. I think I'm going to avoid this brand in the future.

I love the fabric and fit. They are loose fitting and cool on a hot day; they are also great for kayaking and playing with my grandchildren on the beach because they dry quickly.

Easy to wear, look as good at end of day as they do at the beginning.
