Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sami from Puget Sound on Saturday, August 22, 2015My husband loves these pants. And they look good on him. He's almost 70 and a golfer who shoots his age and finds these pants very comfortable.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by LarryStang from Sayville, NY on Monday, August 10, 2015Perfect fit and lightweight.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Paul from Michigan on Friday, July 24, 2015These are great lightweight travel pants; if you stop reading now you'll at least have that.
I typically shy away from "travel pants" I often find them to be unflattering, baggy and either too short or so long that they puddle around my ankles. I also do not care for convertible pants, the whole zip-off thing doesn't work for me; if you want to wear shorts, wear them, if you want long pants, well, you get the idea. I generally wear pants like these as lightweight utility pants, everything from hiking to yard work and yes, even travel in warm weather and since my old pair was looking really ratty I thought I'd give these a try.
ExOfficio gear is high quality stuff and these pants are no exception, the fabric has a great feel to it, they are well made and I like the little touches like the micro fiber waistband liner which helps keep them from sliding down. Even the cargo pockets on the thighs are done in a way to be discreet while still offering utility. The included belt is a nice touch too. The best part? They are cut similarly to a normal pair of pants, offering a modern contemporary fit so they won't look out of place when you're out; they are supremely comfortable and even in hot weather I don't overheat. In other words, I have just found my new favorite travel/utility pants. I like these so much I ordered a second pair.
Finally, a word about fit; I am 6'1" and wear 34x34 pants in everything from jeans to dress pants and these ExOfficios fit absolutely true to size. As I said at the beginning, these are great pants, if your size is in stock, order them, you won't be disappointed.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by rwhood from upstste NY on Friday, July 24, 2015Have always been a cool/cold weather person. Never cared for hot weather, even more so as I have gotten older. Always looking for clothing/things to help me stay cooler in Summer. So big fan of ExOfficio summer clothing; have 4 pants, 9 shirts, and several underwear. If I HAVE to travel in the Summer it is almost a guarantee will be wearing ExOfficio to the airport, during much of the trip, and on the way home from the airport. If you travel to places without Western conveniences, ExOfficio easily hand-washes in a tub and will most likely be dry & ready to wear in the morning.
About the only 'con' is the pockets close/fasten with velcro, I prefer buttons.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Scott M from Oregon on Thursday, July 23, 2015I like these pants, very light, well designed pockets and stylish.
The fit wasn't great for me in the leg. The regular was way too long and the short was just a tad too short. I did decide to keep them because I like the features. The waist fit perfectly. I'm 5' 9" with 32" waist for reference.
The supplied belt is pretty lame with a cheesy buckle and the length would have to be adjusted as it is very long. Best to remove it.
Question & Answer
“The sizing chart displayed for this item is a shirt size chart. What are the inseam lengths for the S, R, and L pants?”
Based on my recollection and how they actually fit I'm fairly certain the inseam length is 31", 32" and 33".
