So I ordered size 14, but the waist is gaping huge on me, whereas the hips and thighs are still so tight that the seams pull when I sit down. In addition, the fabric is very thin, so pocket outlines are always visible.

They a bit tight in the thighs. I'd like to blame them on the ExOfficio but honestly I think it is me to blame;( I like the low cut waist. I find that cut more comfortable then being waist high. The light weigh fabric is cool and washes and dries easily. I liked them so much I ordered a second pair. -

They are big however. I'm 57 years young, hold my weight in muscular (and right now fat too) thighs and butt. When I'm thin I can wear a 6 or 8. Normally and 8 and now at 5 ft 133 pounds, my 8's are snug. I bought an 8 and wondered if I should send back for a 6. Definitely want to wear with a belt.
