Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I like this shirt, I do not use it as a dress. Would be too short. It looks nice with leggings and skinny jeans. The tie waist was a little high waisted for me but I am tall and long waisted. Might hit a shorter person in the right spot. I snipped off the strings that hold the tie and just wear it tied where I want, or not at all. It washes up nicely and works well for travel.
