ExOfficio Storm Logic Jacket (For Men)

The price was great, and that is why I ordered the jacket. It has lots of pockets and is true to size. Fabric on inside is of good quality. The color on the outside is an odd shade of green. Looks more like a female color or clothing item. But the real deal breaker was the poor quality of the exterior fabric. I don't think it would last long under normal use. No way would it hold up for backpacking or outdoor sports. I returned the jacket for refund.

This jacket provides a shot of warmth for all, but the most technically demanding, of life's pursuits. Great for car camping, day hiking, resort skiing (as an insulating layer)and around town. The fit is my only complaint, it feels overall big particularly the bottom half of the coat. I'm 5'7" 130 lbs. and often fall in between small and medium sizes, depending on the manufacturer, so I'm used to it.

I'm looking forward to using this jacket for travel. Together with a lightweight rain shell, it would make an extremely versatile combination. Lots of useful pockets. Weighs very little.

First off this is a very well made jacket that's very lightweight, warm and packable. Some people say the color is nice, I'm still unsure how much I like the color or if I even do. This jacket will be used only for hiking activities, can't imagine going out on the town with it based on the green color. However for hiking it should work very well. Lightweight, warm even when wet, packs up into small space.

Due to mild spring weather, I haven't been able to test cold performance, but the jacket will keep me warm from maybe 20 to 40 F. It will be much warmer if I wear a fleece base layer.
