“These shorts are a bit more dressy than usual trail or backpack shorts. They do shrink a bit but I fit a size 8 (or less depending on brand) and I wouldn't want them any tighter especially in the waist. I am very satisfied with these shorts-I am sure they will be great for traveling-probably won't use them for hiking or backpacking although they would be ok, not great for those activities.”
