ExOfficio Take Over Shorts (For Women)

These are a more like capris than shorts on me, but I have shorter legs than most. They hit me a couple inches below my knee. I wore these, alternating with one other pair of ex-officio capris, for a few weeks while backpacking across Cambodia a few months back. They were great for climbing up temple ruins and for getting down in the dirt with kids at an orphanage. They repel dirt very well, which was helpful because I was washing clothes in the shower. Most nights they dried beautifully, but once or twice the knit waistband was still damp in the morning. I highly recommend them for backpack traveling as a comfortable pair of pants for hiking, relaxing, or sitting on a plane/bus for 8-10 hours.

These are super-cute, but a little strange at the top. The stretch-jersey top part comes all the way up to my natural waist, which is a little odd, and a feel I'm not used to. I tried to fold them over, but I really like no-hassle/no-fuss clothes, so I just ended up unfolding them. They are very cute, and very flattering, though--

The fabric waistband is flattering and low profile. The length is like a shorter capri, a few inches past the knee. I'm normally a 10, and the 10 fit well (even though I've had to size up to a 12 in other ExOfficio pants.)

Very comfortable and flattering. A little loose, but they should be.

The fold over waist band is a nice feature, depending on how high you like your pants.

Fit not so good. Have other Ex Officio clothing that I love and travel with often.

Hips fit too snug. Cut narrow through hips.
