    Haven't used it yet but it appears very well made, very functional and very light. Planning to use it for birdwatching in the Spring/Summer and hiking. Seems ideal for layering in hot buggy weather with lots of pockets for storage.

    I bought this vest as a light weight replacement for a vest that was fairly light weight. I ride competitive trail "NATRC" which means I ride an equine (in my case a mule) over 50 miles in 2 days--the season being 9-10 rides during a summer. It is stressful, hot, and physically demanding. I need to carry "possibles" that I can easily retrive while riding and still remain cool...this vest fits the bill extremely well

    Bought this vest for my husband for an overseas trip, but think we'll wear it often. It is very lightweight and could easily fit under a jacket to give you more pockets/storage when flying or hiking. The vest's tag indicated it's unisex and I ended up buying a second for myself. The chest pocket is not very attractive and not necessary, but we can live with it.
