The look is a little more refined and dressy that some, and its relative thinness and light weight makes it a very practical layer that's not very likely to overheat you. It works great with dress shirts, and is fitted and thin enough to pair with a blazer or sports jacket if you want the warmth and the look suits you. I've given several of these as gifts, and they are always well received.

But with extra discount was priced fairly and I can use it. I am 6'5", 230 lb with 37" sleeves and the 2xl fits nicely.
