The fabric is soft and stretchy. The only downside for me was the length of the sleeves and the length of the garment; I am 5'1", and the sleeves and the shirt are too long. I purchased the smallest size available, too, in XSmall. So I had to fold over the cuffs to make them fit me, and I had to fold up the bottom of the shirt to tuck it into my pants. Nonetheless, I decided to keep the shirt and not return it, because I like the look and the fabric. It would be nice if ExOfficio made XSmall more proportionate for shorter women.

What they call "winter white" is a little less white and a little more ivory than I was expecting, but still a nice shirt and a definite keeper.
