I spent 1 week in Alaska camping off the back of a motorcycle. The small pack size was perfect d/t lack of room on the bike, however it was comfortable! We slept on the beach on rocks and I didn't feel a single stone!

The description when I ordered read "self-inflating" but that's not correct. It wasn't difficult to inflate or to deflate, was comfortable, light-weight, compact. Overall, just what I wanted.

This is a great little pad for summertime backpacking. Don't count on it to keep you warm when the temperatures drop down to freezing and below! Tried that and I was cold all night, and I sleep VERY warm.

I got this mat at a great price and enjoyed it on a summer camping trip. The title says built-in pump and pillow, but not with this model. I did have the exped pillow pump already at home, coincidentally. After a tired, dark night hike into a base camp, I had trouble figuring out the inflation valve (and connection to the pillow pump) and ended up inflating it manually via the deflation valve (the inflation valve has an auto-close guard to prevent air escape, and it's kind of tight, if you're very tired). However, when I got home and had ample light and energy, I could pretty easily figure out how to inflate it from the correct valve and using the pillow pump. Nice, light, inexpensive item for summer camping. It also rolls and repacks with no hassle. It definitely increased my comfort on suboptimal campsites (roots, immobile rocks, etc) without breaking the bank.
