We haven't used this bag yet, but I can say this about it: 1. It is lightweight, but strong. 2. It is a good shape for keeping basic items dry, say on a day hike or short kayak trip when you need just a couple things with you. (Check the dimensions to see if it would be the right shape for your needs.) 3. This was our first attempt at a see-through bag. You can make out about 75% of what is inside, especially if you can push the clear panel right against it. 4. The roll/snap lock makes a nice, easy grab handle. 5. We haven't tested it in water, but when the bag is closed up, I couldn't push any air out whatsoever, so that makes me feel confident that it would do the job. I have a separate waterproof cell phone cover that lets me use the phone right in it, but if I didn't have that, I would probably use this for my phone to take to the beach or anywhere it might get dropped in a puddle, etc.

At $28 with free shipping on STrading post deal this can't be beat. So lightweight and even as a side sleeper I'm on air.

This quilt is a bit pricy without at least a 30% coupon, for what you get. Quality is great, but it's definitely somewhat heavy for a quilt only rated for 45 degrees, probably comes from all the snaps it has on both sides and the use of polyester on the inside lining instead of nylon like most UL quilts and bags use. Overall, I really like it and was happy with the price when i used a 35& coupon--was a great deal in that case. I would give it a higher rating if they had built something in it to help with the drafts that invariably happen when two people sleep together, and at least one is a nighttime tosser and turner sleeper type. I recently tested it out with my wife while camping during a 39 low, with non thermal clothing on, and i was plenty warm. My wife was plenty warm too, but then again she was covered in thermal type clothing, down jacket over her hiking shirt, micro fuzzy fleece pants, thick wool socks, etc Good quilt for the price with a good coupon. P.S., i will note there were some mix ups by Sierra Trading post regarding specifications earlier, but they have largely been corrected except that the 45 degree rating from the Exped site should be listed, and the actual just quilt weight should be listed, which is 31 oz.
