4.0 out of 5 stars. Comfortable. Easy to adjustVerified Buyer Reviewed by Hung Lam from Texas on Monday, January 26, 2015Used it once so review may be incomplete. Nevertheless, this PFD is comfortable to wear/paddle; adjustments, a snap. The 2 pockets are big enough for essentials. Initial inspections indicated quality product!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Very comfortable but runs largeReviewed by Karen from Orlando, FL on Tuesday, January 13, 2015I love the fit. Instead of the front and back being flat, the jacket is made in sections which fit the shape of your body much better. It also has some ventilation between the sections which is great for warmer weather. The arm openings are cut deep enough that there is no rubbing or chaffing as you move your arms to paddle.
The jacket does run on the large side though. I ordered the S/M and even cinched up all the way it was kind of big. A PFD should be snug not loose. I'm an average size woman (5'6", 130 lbs) so I thought the S/M would be right. But no worries, it fits my son well so I'm definitely keeping it. I would say it was more like a M/L than a S/M. So I'd order down a size if you're not sure or if you're between sizes.
Very well made. Definitely along the lines of the $100+ jackets you see at the paddling stores not the cheap junk you see at Walmart. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice fit! good buy!Reviewed by Paddlin4life from Siskiyou Rivers! on Tuesday, December 31, 2013I was a little worried that the S/M would be too small for me because I'm a larger medium. But it fits great! I really like the pockets in the front chest too. Now we just need some rain and the flows to follow!

4.0 out of 5 stars. life jacketReviewed by Anonymous from New York on Tuesday, June 25, 2013I ordered this life jacket for my husband in men’s S/M after ordering the woman’s S/M for me. They are comfortable and well made. One note - not sure why they make a distinction between mens/womens. Both are exactly the same size - adult S/M. On close examination, there is absolutely no difference between them.

4.0 out of 5 stars. great valueReviewed by Anonymous from Washington DC on Wednesday, June 5, 2013Always can count you Sierra Trading Post to provide a good product at a good value. This will be a very nice kayak vest for the various friends that I invite to kayak with me. Flexible in fitting a variety of different shaped friends. :)

1.0 out of 5 stars. Exrtasport Baja PFDReviewed by Anonymous from Four Corners on Thursday, April 18, 2013I will probably be returning this item to STP. The PFD looks good initially, but after putting it on and adjusting it properly, it does not instill confidence. With only the waist belt and one belt around the sternum, it has a tendency to ride up. Methinks, when floating in the water where you really need proper fit, it is going to ride way up under my armpits and up around my neck.

5.0 out of 5 stars. I would buy this againVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rich from Albany from Albany ny on Tuesday, June 19, 2012I am a beginning kayaker who used to race canoes. This jacket is very comfortable for fit and ventilation. I have not fallen in the water or otherwise tested it so I can not attest to its flotation effectiveness, but I expect that that is a given in its manufacture and marketing.
