This was purchased to replace an older Extrasport kayaking jacket. The side style zipper is easier to get in and out of than the front zipper on my old life jacket. The floatation foam could be slightly thinner to make the jacket more comfortable when sitting in the kayak. I prefer the old PFD adjustment system for the straps, I would rather adjust the shoulder and chest seperately. For the price this was hard to be inspite of the shortcomings of the adjustment and foam thickness.

Sized very small. I bought the XXL to put on a boat for a friend and the jacket didn't even fit me, XL. Great construction and good application for personal water craft, skiing or wakeboarding. Not a good life jacket for wade fishing or emergency application due to difficult closure design.
    • Best Uses: Personal Watercraft, Wakeboarding, Waterskiing
    • Chest Size: Feels too small
    • Cons: Difficult closure, Hard to Adjust, Restricts Movement, Very bulky
